This poem comes at a time when the sounds of the blast has not yet died in the media and our hearts. Lucky were you indeed: two feet and half an hour away from the death. There is no wonder that the words and their order in the poem has every bit of the shudder that you felt when the blast took off. The poem shudders the reader in awe and shock. Hail the God for showering mercy on you. Others were, alas, not equally lucky.

namaste Yatish,
it's so sad to hear what happened in Delhi. It also makes me upset. Innocent people being killed - for what reason? These people are mad, insane.
I have visited Delhi many times since the late 1970's, and always love coming back. I hope these people will learn that no problem can be solved with violence.
A sad theme for your first posting, but it's good you have shown this ...
Be well, and god bless you and your family!

Very powerful shot, worthy of a news magazine lead photo.

I must say you have a sharp mind to judge the metaphor. Nice post and the way you described the aftermath is egregiously mind blowing. Your poetry is quite heart touching
